Inspired by Alan Aldridge’s and William Plomer’s “The Butterfly Ball & the Grasshopper’s Feast”, pupils from Year 5 created paper flowers and plasticine bugs to be displayed as a mini installation. In the afternoon, the pupils created a title banner – each student decorated their own individual letter; once complete, the banner will spell “The Butterfly Ball & the Grasshopper’s Feast”, to accompany the rest of the display.

A brilliant day – all the pupils and staff of Millbrook were a pleasure to work with, and I look forward to working with them again soon.
