On Saturday 18 May 2019, New Mills School opened it’s Art rooms for four hours of playing with clay… Each two-hour workshop saw over twenty participants (of all ages!) creating porcelain paper-clay plant pockets and paper-clay Sgraffito tiles: the day was a great success! The workshops were part of the Crafts Council’s Hey Clay! weekend – a national celebration of clay giving everyone the chance to unleash their inner potter, by attending free events run by venues across the country.
Huge thanks to all who came and took part, and to everyone who came and helped during day.
