Inspired by Carol Ann Duffy’s poem Havisham and Dickens’ descriptions of the character Miss Havisham and the decay of Satis House, the aim was to create an on-going installation of paper and plasticine roses and insects – to compliment the installation Havisham. Part of the 2012 “Out of Schools” exhibition and the “Manchester Children’s Book Festival”, at the Manchester School of Art, MMU.
